The region’s real estate market has undergone a significant transformation since the boom of 2020-2022. After a period of skyrocketing prices and systematic bidding wars, the market has stabilized and been more balanced since 2023.
Where we stand today
Mont-Tremblant currently has about 550 homes, condos, cottages, townhouses for sale, an inventory that is consistent with annual transaction volume in the region.
The reality: A market with variable speeds
Unlike the 2020-2022 period, when almost anything was selling quickly, the 2025-2026 market is segmented: certain luxury properties and desirable areas find buyers within a few weeks, while other segments require price adjustments and strategic marketing tactics. Lakeside properties, prestige homes ($1M+) and certain flagship developments still enjoy strong demand, while properties in need of major renovations are meeting with more hesitation from buyers.
This analysis breaks down the specific performances of more than 25 key developments and sectors in the region, with 2025 sales statistics and an overview of the situation at January 2026.

- 4 of 15 transactions (27%) of homes over $1.8M
FOCUS – LAKESIDE
- Only 7 lakeside homes over $800,000 were sold
- Versants Mont-Tremblant was involved in 2 of those 7 transactions (30%)
SITUATION IN 2026
- There are currently 75 homes over $1M for sale, just 4 of those lakeside properties.
- Between $1,200,000 and $25,000,000
Q: Is this a good time to list a luxury property?
A: Yes, absolutely. The luxury market is doing very well in Mont-Tremblant. Houses in this real estate category have continued to rise in value since the boom in 2020. Although luxury listings may appear plentiful, many qualified buyers are active and still struggling to find the one that suits them best.
Q: Is this a good time to list a lakeside home?
A: This type of property is among the most sought-after on the market, since there are very few such houses up for sale. The imbalance between supply and demand has clearly made this segment a seller’s market.
Includes: Altitude, Héritage, Horizon, L’Algonquin, L’Érablière, L’Équinoxe, La Clairière, Le Chalumeau, Le Boisé, Le Plateau, Le Rocher Soleil, Les Falaises, Les Hauts-Bois, Les Ruisseaux
2025 REVIEW
- There were 26 sales in 2025. Versants was involved in
- 12 of the 26 transactions (46%)
SITUATION IN 2026
- There are currently 24 properties for sale in Domaine de la Forêt
Q: Is this a good time to list a property?
A: Yes, because although 24 properties are on the market, Domaine de la Forêt totals more than 500 properties, which puts the supply at less than 5% – what we consider as being “low to moderate” inventory.
Also, we note that there were 26 sales in 2025, which is also consistent with the number of properties on the market. Domaine de la Forêt is a real estate category that saw some stagnation and even a slight decrease in prices after the frenzy of 2020-2022, but prices are still high. In spite of new residential developments around the mountain (Verbier, L’Hymne des Trembles, Ostrya), Domaine de la Forêt is highly desirable due to its exceptional location.
2025 REVIEW
- 4 sales were concluded. Our brokers were involved in
- 2 of the 4 transactions (50%)
SITUATION IN 2026
- There are currently 3 properties for sale in Chalets Côté Nord.
- Between $699,000 + tx and $1,095,000 + tx
Q: Is this a good time to list a property at Chalets Côté Nord?
A: Yes. With just 3 properties listed out of a total of 72, the inventory stands at about 4%, which corresponds to a “low to moderate” level. Having said that, the market remains selective and unpredictable. In 2025, some properties sold quickly while others stayed on the market for several months before selling.
REVIEW OF 2025
- At Le Maître, we saw 12 resales in 2025. Our agents were involved in
- 7 of those 12 transactions(close to 60%)
SITUATION IN 2026
There are currently just 4 properties for sale at Le Maître
- between $925,000 and $1,459,000
Q : Is this a good time to list a property at Le Maître?
A: Yes. However, it is harder to predict what will happen in the current market. For example: of the 12 properties sold, some found buyers within a single weekend while other took a year, and even two years, to sell. Generally speaking, buyers prefer more recent builds and are more reluctant to take on renovations.
